Being a Trustee
As a member of the Management Committee you are responsible for the overall running and management of South Ayrshire Nightstop and oversee all major decisions on behalf of the charity. You will have many shared responsibilities, including developing strategy, overseeing finances and other activities.As a Management Committee member you will be expected to attend the Management Committee meeting once per month this commitment will be ongoing and dates that are convenient for all stakeholders. The time commitment for the monthly meeting is no more than 3hrs. There maybe additional commitments if you are involved in subcommittee groups.
Other duties may include you reviewing information with other Committee members and or serving on subcommittee groups. Training and development opportunities will be provided to new Committee members if required. All Committee members are expected to participate in development opportunities where appropriate.
Committee members will not benefit from their position beyond what is allowed by the law and is in the interest of Nightstop.
This position is a voluntary post, however all expenses will be reimbursed.
